Specialized earthworks are engineering works carried out in complex construction conditions to strengthen soil, perform deep excavations, and construct underground structures. These works are performed using specialized equipment and technologies.

1. Construction of Caissons and Sinking Wells

Sinking wells and caissons are specialized structures used in the construction of deep foundations, bridge supports, and underwater structures. Sinking wells are gradually lowered to the required depth as the soil is excavated. Caissons are mainly used in areas with groundwater and for construction projects carried out in underwater conditions.

2. Ground Anchoring and Construction Using the “Diaphragm Wall” Method

Ground anchors are used to reinforce excavations, retaining walls, and construction structures. The “diaphragm wall” method involves constructing reinforced concrete walls in pre-excavated trenches. This method enables the safe construction of deep underground floors, tunnels, and structures in densely built-up urban areas.
