The population for the planning period was determined taking into account the prospective development indicators of the settlement within the resettlement framework, as well as demographic projections based on natural population growth. The development plan was designed on the basis that 245 families are expected to settle in Zabukh village in the future, with a total population of 1,007 family members.

Architectural Design

The project’s design and management process was carried out based on the phased planning and project management program developed by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).

Within the RIBA framework, the project was managed through the following stages:

• Stage C — Conceptual sketches;
• Stage D — Detailed design;
• Stage E — Technical design.

One of the main objectives of the design was to create a modern production facility that would not only meet the needs of the domestic market but also comply with international standards and be oriented toward exports. To achieve this goal, the design team studied the Spanish model and visited operating plants in Spain to learn about and observe on site the operating principles, approaches, technological equipment, product reception, and production processes of such facilities.

The main objective in designing the buildings and structures of the Almond Processing Plant was to create a harmonious combination of functionality and aesthetics. The production process itself creates a visually engaging experience, while the large glazed façade of the administrative building adjacent to the production area allows this process to be observed, giving viewers the feeling of being part of it. We are confident that employees and guests in the administrative building will particularly appreciate the architectural solutions while observing the production process from above.

The complex’s courtyard is designed to include an underground utility and drinking water reservoir, a pump station, a fire-water reservoir, transformer and generator areas, underground and above-ground parking facilities, a gazebo, and a children’s playground.
